The J F Good Co. and Pittsburgh Industrial comprise the Industrial PVF Division of Famous Enterprises. The Famous Enterprise Family of Companies is a network of 33 stocking warehouses and manufacturing plants located in the United States. The company was founded over 70 years ago and is still owned and managed by the same family. Famous Enterprises focuses on four primary product groups: Industrial PVF, HVAC, Plumbing and Building Products.
Since 1932, J F Good has provided goods and services to the industrial community worldwide. The J F Good Co. is a distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, instrumentation, valve automation packages and specialty piping equipment. Our comprehensive inventories allow us to provide solutions for all levels of fluid equipment applications, to severe service and engineered applications. We provide on-site technical support, free technical training, energy management surveys, and work with our core manufacturers to address all piping applications.

- J F Good offers e-solutions that generate efficiencies in the supply chain. Our operating software provides a fully integrated end-to-end functionality and supports Internet e-procurement solution platforms. We have developed a WEB Commerce platform, www.famous-supply.com, to streamline transaction fulfillment processes.
- We currently manage numerous bin stock locations for our customer base, utilizing our customized bar coding and proprietary RDC palm scanning technologies. This technology allows us to generate replenishment orders expediently and efficiently.
- We have a Contract Service Team in place, cross-trained to perform all of the necessary contract functions so that there will be no interruption in service. Our commitment doesn’t end with normal business hours. Our customers are provided with emergency contacts for around the clock support. We customize our program based upon our customer’s specific needs.
- Our Engineered Product and Solutions Group enhances our company profile our core competencies within the engineered fluid products arena. We provide on-site technical support, free technical training and application surveys. We have two fully equipped world class state of the art Valve Automation facilities, staffed by factory authorized, experienced valve technicians. Our goal is to become the premier application specialists for the world class engineered products we represent.

- In the spring of 2005, our company launched a new state of the art, fully automated 350,000 Sq.ft Central Distribution Center in Sebring, Ohio.
